Adorable Woodland Cake Decorated With Royal Icing Cookies

Read my affiliate disclosure here.I was inspired to make the owl cookie when I saw a vintage clock at a friend’s house during a birthday party (cookie inspiration is everywhere!).I’d also planned to make a cookie set based on the Merry Mushroom canister set, and then decided to put the two ideas together to make this adorable woodland cake.To make these tiny mushroom cookies, I used this set of polymer clay mushroom cutters. They were NOT easy to use with cookie dough but I managed to make it work!It helps to dust the cookie cutters in flour before cutting the dough.
